For '26, Jaime, I would put So This is Paris on top. And, for the record, my 1925 best are The Gold Rush, Master of the House, Faces of Children, Seven Chances, Lady Windermere's Fan, Ben-Hur, The Big Parade, and The Merry Widow. Some of my years are different from yours, but hope this helps. I've been working on a Silents list on MUBI, so I had the data at my fingertips, as it were. Thank you for all your good work. Bob

Thanks Robert. 1925 is up and all of those are included. I don't think BEN-HUR is Top Tier material, though, but it made Essential Viewing. (I don't care for it, but many seem to.)

BTW, these are not intended to be "my" lists at all, but a more general accounting of the tastes of sophisticated cinephiles. I haven't seen lots of these and disagree with many.
